Bengaluru, Jul 4: Police here on Monday, July 3 filed a suo moto case against Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik for delivering an objectionable speech propagating violence.
Muthalik had made the speech on Sunday, July 2 at Maurya Circle while protesting against the initiative of holding of Iftar party for Muslims at Sri Krishna Math in Udupi by Pejawar Swamiji recently. Muthalik had said in his speech that there will be bloodshed if Iftar parties are allowed in temples in the state henceforth.
Based on this speech, the police at High Grounds police station registered a suo moto case against Muthalik.
