Panaji: Two Catholic crosses desecrated, Parrikar assures action

Panaji, July 2 (IANS): Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday said that strong action will be taken against those responsible for the desecration of two places of Catholic worship in south Goa's Salcete sub district.

Parrikar told reporters that police had been directed to intensify patrolling in the area.

"We do not tolerate such mischief," Parrikar said, when asked to comment on the Sunday morning desceration of the Holy Crosses in St. Jose de Areal and Gudi Paroda villages, located nearly 45 km from Panaji.

Your strong action is to your tongue and it ends there. Even your boss Modi only strained his tongue by saying killing is not acceptable in the name cow vigilantes and so is Yogi and fooling people but from behind you are giving all support they need. All this means that you agree it's wrong but you want to keep people agitated.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” This would happen when state is ruled by BJP. We must wait and watch CM Parrikar will do.
