Common services centres within 30-45 days: Khaunte

Margao, Jun 30 (TOI): After a review meeting with South Goa collector Swapnil Naik, additional collectors, deputy collectors, mamlatdars and other officials at the Matanhy Saldanha Administrative Complex, Margao, on Thursday morning, revenue minister Rohan Khaunte directed officials to ensure speedy disposal of long-pending mutation and tenancy cases before September this year.

Khaunte said, "After having received complaints from the public, the Mahiti Ghars have been discontinued and Form I and XIV are available online. But to facilitate those citizens unable to apply online, the common services centres (CSC) will be made available within the next 30-45 days in North and South Goa. Instead of making numerous trips, all services will be provided to the public within a specified timeline for a nominal charge fixed by the government. These charges will be similar to those charged by the Mahiti Ghar. "

"From July 1 onwards, memos will be issued to officials if there is any delay in providing services to the public who can voice their complains on www.saang.goenkar.gov.in and within three days they will be provided with a reply," said Khaunte.

    It is so satisfying to note that Common Services Centres are being launched by honourable Rohan Khaunte. I was loosing confidence in my native country because administrative work had come to a standstill.

    Here I would like to Congratulate and thank the Revenue Minister for the excellent work.
