Mysuru, Jun 30: Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah, son of chief minister Siddaramaiah, has entered politics. He has been seen active in Chamundeshwari constituency which is represented by his father.
As the elections are fast approaching and the Siddaramaiah family feels that a year-long preparation is needed to face the polls successfully, Dr Yathindra has started visiting the people of the constituency.
Though Yathindra regularly listened to the people on behalf of his father since last year, now he has officially done it. On Thursday, he was seen offering prayers at Chamundi Hills and receiving petitions from public at Gungral. He spoke to people and said that Congress is a strong party and the achievements of the government should reach the people in the constituency and party workers should work in this regard.
He also said that his father has worked a lot for the Chamundeshwari constituency and he has sent him on his behalf.
He told them that party workers should forget small differences and work unitedly for the benefit of the party.
