But to provide some support for these families to eke out a living, this fund has been given to them. I heartily record my appreciation for the hard work put in by the tahsildar, Mahadevaiah, and revenue officer, Naveen, who worked day and night to collect documents for disbursal of this fund. Such style of work is a model for officers from other areas in the state," he stated.
State secretary of women's Congress Pratibha Kulai, city corporator, Gunashekar, former corporator, Harish Suratkal, tahsildar, Mahadevaiah, revenue officer, Naveen, and several others were present.
Tahsildar, Mahadevaiah, speaking on the occasion, said that the officials are always eager to respond to the needs of distressed families in case of natural calamities. "Although we strive to disburse compensation as fast as possible, collection of documents takes time in certain cases, causing delay. In this case, we could collect the documents very fast and disburse compensations to poor families without delay," he explained.
