Mangaluru, Jun 19: Gopal Bajpe of Karnataka state police department, who has served in different police stations under Dakshina Kannada district police division, is currently functioning as police officer on protocol duty at the international airport here since the last ten years. Recently he was honoured by city police commissioner, M Chandra Sekhar, who was later transferred, by handing over service commendation certificate. Gopal had served in Bajpe police station before being transferred to Kavoor station, to which he is currently attached.
Gopal has been discharging his duties efficiently and diligently. He has served higher officers, dignitaries from the country and abroad, apart from politicians of the state and the district and superiors by working hard day and night. His friendly approach and ability to function as coordinator have won appreciation everywhere.
Considering his efficiency and working style, the then city police commissioner, M Chandra Sekhar, had recently handed over the commendation certificate to him, besides congratulating him, and wishing that the duty consciousness shown by him will be a model for people serving everywhere including police department.
