Mangaluru, Jun 10: “Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is all set to start its 6th Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Adhiveshan in Goa from June14 to17,” said Guruprasad, state coordinator of the Samiti.
Addressing media persons here on Saturday, June 10, he said, “Being one of the most celebrated and religiously rich Hindu majority country, there is a dire need for us to establish a 'Hindu rashtra' based on the ideals of Ramarajya. For which we have decided to bring together followers of Hinduism from almost 23 countries.”
“We also need to discuss a few issues that are proving detrimental to our collective interests. Many grievances and demands made by the Hindus are still falling on deaf ears and are unattended. We strongly propose the removal of article 370 and rehabilitation and facilitation of Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir. People pelting stones on soldiers need to be declared traitors and should be punished at the earliest. Swift decisions should be made regarding cow slaughter which is antagonistic to our Hinduistic values.”
“For the last five sessions, protests have been made in Mangaluru, Udupi, Bengaluru, Hubli, Shivmoga, Vijayapura, etc for deeming the stone pelters who went against the soldiers as traitors and bestow all rights to the army. This year more than 400 representatives from around 23 countries will come together for the session including many from Karnataka itself. The main goal would be to establish a 'Hindu rashtra' and fight for making needs of our people heard,” he added.
Guruprasad, state coordinator; Manjula Gowda, member of Sanatana Sanstha, Divya, lawyer Hanumant Kamath, Chandra Moger, dist coordinator and Srinivas K and others were present.
