Mumbai: KCA Nallasofara holds 20th annual distribution of school stationery

Mumbai, Jun 8: Konkani Catholic Association Nallasofara distributed monetary help, school uniforms and school stationery for poor school children on Sunday morning, May 4.

The programme was held at KCA office, Nallasofara under the aegis of HelpingHands.gives organization and chaired by KCA president Harry B Coutinho. Various kinds of assistance was given to hundreds of children belonging to economically weaker sections of society.

HelpingHands.gives organization founder Jeevan Kotian, Peter Fernandes, Emelda Sequeira handed over the aid to the children and wished them well. Nearly 200 children were provided exercise books, more than 50 children were provided school uniforms and stationery. School fees of 20 children was also handed over on the occasion.

Working committee members Lilly Quadros, Rony Pais, Inez D'Souza, Lavina Dais, John Alva, Diana Moras, Rohinton Kaka, Hilda D'Souza, Richard Pinto, Romeo Fernandes, Lavina Dais, John Alva and several members were present.

KCA honorary chief secretary Claud D'Silva welcomed everyone. Honorary treasurer Alwyn Francis D'Souza Mudarangadi gave the keynote address, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Working committee members Lilly Quadros, Rony Pais and Inez D'Souza presented flower bouquets to the guests and honored them. Vice president Gracy Pinto proposed the vote of thanks.
