Dubai, Jun 5: Any Body Can Dance (ABCD) Academy, a long cherished dream of well-known dance trainer couple Rithesh and Silvy has come to reality with the opening of the ABCD Dance & Music Academy on the second floor of Ansar Gallery Building, Karama on Friday June 2 morning 10 am.
Fr Robert Lasrado of St Mary’s Catholic Church, along with Dayan D’Souza of Daiji Rangh Mandir inaugurated the institute by cutting the ribbon. Later, MC Nisha Sequeira welcomed the guests with flower bouquet and then introduced the owners couple Rithesh and Silvy both hailing from Mangaluru. The couple have been not only teaching and preparing students for many dance events in Dubai, but they themselves were celebrity dancers in various events.
Silvy and Rithesh have together as a couple performed with famous Bollywood actors like Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Kapoor, Sunny Leone, Noura Fathehi, Abijith Sawant, Sarah Khan and even Malayalam actors and singers like Mohan Lal, Dilip, Kalabhavan Mani, Vijay Yesudas, Rimi and Chitra Aiyar. They have also performed with Hindi TV stars and Bollywood singers Hussain and Tina (winners of ‘Nach Bhaliye - 2006’), Udit Narayan, Usha Uthup, Alka Yagnik, Vasundara Das, Remo Fernandes, Abhay, Shreya Goshal, Preeti Jhangiani, Hariharan and Johnny Lever. They had also performed with Sandalwood actors Sudeep, Vijay Ragavendra, Ruchitha Prasad, Shivaraj Kumar and singers S P Balasubramaniam and Claude.
Later, Rithesh and Silvy welcomed the guests while Dayan D'Souza, Fr Robert Lasrado and other guests along with special guest Shodhan Prasad lit the traditional lamp and wished Rithesh and Silvy for their new venture. Fr Robert Lasrado rendered the prayers narrating hymns from the Holy Bible and blessed the institute with the sprinkling of holy water. All the guests spoke briefly and wished the couple success in their new venture.
ABCD ventures into training students in a professional and proper way to make their style unique in dance form. They promised to share their talents with both kids and adults of all ages to make them physically fit and to prepare them in their dance performances as well.
Further Rithesh and Silvy made a special announcement that they will offer free classes to all those Indians interested in learning dance but cannot afford to pay the regular fees on account of their salary status.
Light refreshments were served to all the guests present. Rithesh and Silvy thanked all those who supported them in their new venture while assuring professional assistance in dance.
