Bengaluru, May 31: Deputy chief medical officer of the government hospital at Jayanagar, Dr Nagalakshmamma, and 'D' group employee, T H Ravikumar, stand suspended from service by the health and family welfare department. They have been accused of helping illegal Pakistani immigrants who had entered the country illegally and settled down in the city to procure Adhar cards.
Commissioner in the department, Subodh Yadav, issued suspension orders on Tuesday May 30.
The suspended employees have been accused of conspiring with Pakistani citizens, and helping them to obtain Adhar cards by certifying their fake documents. A complaint stands registered against them in Banashankari police station.
Both have been taken into custody by the police. Prima facie they have been found guilty of misusing their positions.
