Udupi, May 26: “I welcome the ban on the slaughter of cattle. However, nobody should take law in their hands. Innocent people should not get killed unnecessarily,” said Vishweshatheertha Sripada of Pejavar.

He was expressing his reaction to the media on the ban, on completion of three years by the Modi-led government at the centre.

“The government should bring out a suitable law. There can be a disaster otherwise. Even if the law is approved at the centre, the state government does not implement it. Therefore, some youth take law in their hand and act in excitement indulging in assault or even murder. Therefore, the law should not be misused. The state government should strictly implement it,” he said.

The Swami............with all due respect has acknowledged the so called Vigilantes, but has gone further to urge them not to misuse the law. It only proves that the Saffron Brigade has silently encouraged these kind of people to operate and harass....

So the Swami accepts that innocent people were killed by the goons .....
This is a good opportunity for Muslims not to get involved in the legal complications of using cattles for Qurbani.... Instead they can save crores and crores of rupees, which can be used for the upliftment of poor section of the community... Qurbani is not the only way to please Allah. there are hundreds of ways to please and get rewards from Him... So Muslims think with cool mind....

I feel you are a stupid fellow on earth. Don't give comment when u know nothing of Islam.
I will suggest u something, you perform Haj in any other month apart from Zil Hijjah or you observe fasting in any other month than Ramadan or you offer 10 times a day prayer than 5 times. Now think yourself will your deeds be accepted and will it be useful.

Same way Qurbani is the deed done only in the specified 3 days and there is no other good deeds which is pleasant to Almighty than Qurbani on those days.

First try to understand what is the meaning and purpose of Qurbani and then put your baseless suggestions to others.

Dear Friend …. I doubt you are a Darga visitor … In that case I do not have to say much… For your information….Qurbani is not Fard, and no one will be hanged or thrown in to hell fire, if he does not offer Qurbani… Even Haj is not Fard on all, it is a conditional Fard, those who are Finanacially sound and having good health to undertake the travel… Islam has given the benefit of Qasr namaz ( shortened prayer ) to the travelers… it shows that Islam is not rigid as you are thinking… It is not advisible to do the Qurbani in those 3 days, considering the legal complications , which are developing recently in our country….
