M’luru: Premiere Episode of Malani’s Maa - Greetings, Grandeur, Celebrations and Jubilations

Mangaluru, May 13: Famous filmmaker Sandeep Malani’s film series ‘Maa - Yeh Cinemaa Hai’ is all set to be premiered on Daijiworld 24x7 Television on the occasion of Mother’s Day, Sunday May 14 at 7:30 pm.

The first episode itself is a celebration of motherhood with the introduction of a mother beautifully presented by Jyothi Colaco. The titles of the film cast has the famous Konkani song ‘Mog Tuzo Kithlon Ashelon’ that is sung by Prajoth D’Sa and Ashwin D’Costa and features the famous paint artist Chitra Mithra along with Vinay Saldanha and his dance team performing to the track.

The episode also highlights Malani’s Silver Jubilee in the film industry, wherein personalities from the film industry from South and Bollywood have given wishes and regards. The film journey of Malani is showcased with a talk show in a studio with Mohammed Aashiq playing the host and a beautiful presentation of photographs and videos of Malani’s films. Also, we get to see the highlights of the entire series of the film, Maa in a musical presentation.

‘Maa - Yeh Cinemaa Hai’ features about 100 artists from Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Mumbai and across the country. The series in Hindi and English is about mother sentiment, woman empowerment and wholesome entertainment. Shot on an iPhone camera, the film is scripted, screenplay, cinematographed and directed by Sandeep Malani for Malani Talkies production. RKJ Production, The Studio Agency and Punith Studio have jointly produced this mega film series.

The telecast will be repeated on Tuesdays 11.30 am and Fridays at 12 in the midnight.
