What a joy to learn that 18 Bethany sisters completed their 25 years each of their dedication as Nuns serving humanity of Mangalore and giving their very best to the society they belong. Eighteen young and energetic nuns with a satisfactory smile on their respective faces have given their very best to the society and community they belong. Total 370 years of vocation as nuns is not an ordinary task for the Nuns to perform either thru their schools, hospitals, senior citizen homes or any other societal duties that have brought positive impact towards humanity.

We watch the Nuns and Priests of Mangalore very closely from a distance. They are also human beings and they too have their own daily burdens and problems to face, yet they try and give their very best unto others, in spite of so many sacrifices and burdens. Most of the Nuns are very well educated and also experienced in so many disciplines. They are therefore assets of our Community in Mangalore.

Thank you, dear Sisters for completing twenty five years of dedication towards life in Mangalore. May God take good care of you so that in turn you take care of many others regardless of their social, religious or financial backgrounds. You reach out so many needy people and help them, and in turn God will take good care of you. (Where is Sr. Wilberta???Please let us know).

My initial elementary education was from the Bethany Nuns, and I shall remain ever grateful to them. My First Holy Communion was given to me by late Monsgr. Mascarenhas at the very place in Bendore. What a joy to be so closely associated with the Bethany Nuns.
