If a company is running under loss , then short circuit is common. Usually it happens in wood factory.

    Dears,

Normally, every building should have building management systems. And also, if the factory is worth around 10 crores, then off course it should have Fire Fighting System like FM200 - KIDDE.

If any fire due to short circuit or others , GAS will be released and hence can avoid fire. Also, these fire fighting system connected Internal IT Infrastructure so that, automatically if any abnormalities will give alarms .

I would say, it is poor planning of Industry . And off course, these types of fires are very dangerous . I am not sure if SEZ representative performs routine checks of building standards ( ISO standards )etc etc...

The best way to avoid these type of fires, perform routine maintenance , only those who pass standards to be allowed to run industry..

Short circuits are one of the most common causes of fire accidents. Reasons for short circuit could be poor quality electrical appliances or overloading or poor maintenance. Nevertheless all business owners should strive to provide a safe workplace to their employees. Basic safety awareness trainings and installation of fire safety devices are a must. Good storage practice and housekeeping with specific focus on fire prevention is another aspect which is usually neglected. The authority, with the power vested in them, ensure basic fire safety preparedness of all business establishments.

The Inurance compnay should examine the pattern of business during the last one year. They should also examine the orders received the proof of buying raw materials etc. 10 croore is a big money and to store 10 crore worth materials you need a lot of space. I am sure the insurers will appoint forensic investigation also in this case. Any loss to insurance company is a national loss.

Then why do we need to pay insurance premium? If we have to safeguard the interests of the Insurance company terming it as National loss?
I agree totally that we need to make sure that fires do not happen but if in worst case scenario, it does happen then the insurance companies need to pay up - plain and simple.

You should run a small company and then talk about stock and inventory reduction.
I work for a big company and i know how tough it is to maintain inventory numbers. Anybody can sit outside the circle of work and comment. :-), Just spreading awareness..
