Mangaluru, May 4: A general awareness meeting was held by Congress party of the Ullal and Mudipu blocks against BJP's reportedly diabolic and dangerous political principles which apply a communal colour to murder, assault, and robbery, whilst provoking feelings of the innocent, spoiling harmony in the district and deriving political mileage from it.
Working president of district Congress committee Ibrahim Kodijal addressed the gathering and said, “Let Sangh Parivar and BJP indulge in politics after knowing the basic principles of Hinduism. The country will face chaos otherwise.
“It is unfortunate that the MP who is elected by the people in the district is preparing to set fire to the district and receive political gains. Karthik Raj case in Konaje was ambiguous. BJP used it for their benefit, creating a rift between religions and castes. Real Hindus should grow as per the holy books which talk about 'Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavantu'. Therefore let BJP know the basic principles before indulging in politics,” he said.
Chief whip of Karnataka Legislative council Ivan D' Souza speaking on the occasion said that the BJP is using incidents in the district to target Muslim community for political advantage. “Congress creating awareness in the society is a good message. Congress will felicitate the police officer who nabs the real culprits in the cases,” he said.

Zilla panchayat member, Mamata Gatti, taluk panchayat member Mohammed Mustafa, president of taluk panchayat Mohammed Monu Malar, Chandrahas Karkera, Ummar Fajeeru, Sudarshan Shetty, Padmanabha Naringana, Seetharama Shetty, municipal council president Hussain Kunhimonu, Muthu Shetty, Nazar Shah, Bharathesh Ameen, Usman Kallapu, Basil D'Souza, Faruk Ullal, Ismael A, Ameer Thumbe, Pius Monteiro, Rafik Amblamogara, Siraj Kinya, Padmavathi, Siddik Talapady, N S Kareem and Damayanti were present at the protest.
