Bantwal, May 4: Pius Rodrigues from here has been appointed as a director of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
State Governor, through a communiqué, has notified that Pius Rodrigues has been appointed with immediate effect for a term of three years.
Pius Rodrigues had served as the chairman of Bantwal Urban Development Authority (BUDA) previously and he is active Congress party member where he has served in different capacities.
Pius is also involved in social service and holds membership in several organizations.
Suresh Gurappa Talavara from Belagavi, Venkatarama from Mysuru are other two directors appointed for the pollution control board by the Governor.
