Mangaluru: Results of Forum Spell Bee Champ - Season 2

Mangaluru, May 3: The Spell Bee championship 2017- Season 2 was powered by Pana Education in association with Tata Stryder, Shoppers Stop and Jyoti Cycle and held at Forum Fiza mall on April 29 and 30.

It was conducted for two categories of contestants namely, junior category for seven to fifteen years of age and senior category for the age group of twelve to fifteen years.

600 kids registered for the competition. The preliminary round comprised of questions which required a tick for the correct answer.

25 kids qualified for the dictation test in the quarter finals.

15 kids qualified for the semi-final first round and ten kids made it to the semi-final second round.

Saif Sheikh, Sufiyaana, Alima, Ervin and Andrea were the top five in the senior category.

Samarth, Saranga Roa, Josh Desai, Ibrahim and Roy were the top five in the junior category.



 

The finalists of the junior round were Roy Saldanha of St Theresa School and Saranga Roa of Canara School.

The finalists of the senior category were Sufiyaan of Rayan International and Erwin from Milagres.

    Congrats erwin kotian for winning in senior level. U made all of us proud and ur school Milagres and the teachers also. Mr. Ganesh conducted it very well. And to the organisers also a big thanks for conducting such platform for kids where they can show their talents. . It was very informative and organised well. Thanks to shoppers stop also for sponsoring the gift voucher for the first 25 participantx who got selected. So the kids were very happy for getting some reward even if they did not make it to the next round.

    Nice Competition. My daughter participated in this and thoroughly enjoyed. Hope the organisers continue such competition in future for the benefit of children. Congrats to little champs.

    Beautiful experience must say as a Pronouncer for SpellBee Champ 2017, As always Mangalorean kids are so smart and competitive . I loved interacting with the kids, and Thanks dear parents for patiently cooperating with the organizers in conducting this event and making it a grand success.
    I strongly suggest all schools come together and conduct such events and school levels.
