Mumbai, Mar 23: Easter was celebrated with great fervour by the Christians across the globe. Accordingly, the Mangalorean Mumbaikars’ settled in metro city celebrated the Easter, the feast of resurrection of Jesus Christ with the traditional touch. The new light of Easter was observed with lighting Easter candle and with the scent of burning incense at Holy Family church, located at Chakala, Andheri East on Saturday March 22 midnight.
Fr Richard Lasrado, parish priest celebrated the Eucharistic Mass along with other priests. Aloysius D’Souza and Clement A Lobo, veterans of Konkani community assisted in the religious celebrations.
