Udupi: Pained by mother's death, Mangaluru youth goes missing

Udupi, Apr 26: A 21-year-old youth who lost his mother a month ago has been reported to have gone missing. His current whereabouts are not known.

The missing youth is Akshay Shet (21) from Mangaluru.

Akshay's mother had passed away after a brief illness a month ago. He was said to be mentally disturbed ever since.

He had come by bike from Mangaluru to Bannanje, Udupi on Tuesday, April 25 and had stayed in his aunt's house. However, as he was troubled by his mother’s thoughts, he went away saying that he was going to Malpe.

He has neither returned home nor gone to the houses of his friends or relatives. His mobile phone is switched off.

A case has been registered in Udupi city police station.

    Akshay. Let not your mother's demise disturb you. By your taking any drastic steps your mother will not return to life. Being a father-grand-father and a great grand-father my advice to you to take courage and face the situation as a man.

    Come back home and be a source of consolation to the grieving relatives.

    I pray God for well being of this young guy and my personal advise him to face the situation as it comes and leave it to God for the result as He is the Creator of this universe and He knows what is good and what is bad. Every living things has to taste death and God is only Who will be there unchanged. Dear friend, you have a long way to go. Please dont be upset and try to calm. May God bless you.     How sad. A mother is a mother, she is everything for her child. No one can replace mother. I am very sorry for this boy and wherever he is, God please keep him safe and strong.

    I was thinking of my case. As a single mother, I brought up my son and now he is doing his higher studies. When I am mentally depressed some times and mind is strongly pressurizing to take an extreme step. After reading this boy's news, I will not even think in my dream to take any decision which will hurt to my son. Hope better days will be ahead in our life.

    A mother is a SUPER HERO.Mummy that is how we call her.She is the one who brings us into this world,She is our first playmate,first teacher,only best friend and first guide to spirituality and a beautiful creation of God.A mother represents love and affection.Only a mothers heart can bear with patience all troubles and miseries,spends sleepless nights with the child is sick,guides us through tough phase of life.For this the young boy could not control his emotion and out of desperation he knows goes missing.Feel very sorry for this boy. God please help him .

    How sad.He must have so much attached to mothers care,and with her death ,probably mentally upset .Someone should have given him some backening and support him for sometime.When in house no other member is there to attract his attention,loneliness troubles.Dear Akshey,please try to calm your feelings.Dont do anything to yourself out of your mothers seperation.Your mother wouldnt like this .She wanted that you to be happy so that go back to your daily work and try to forget slowly.with time it will be better.Please take some help from specialists so that you can lead your daily life or to comeover your mothers death.Sure ther are some dear people worrying about you too.Pray for her soul .So your mothers soul can be happy in Heaven too and need not worry about you.

    IN MOST OF THE CASES BOYS ARE MORE ATTACHED TOWARDS MOTHER, AND GIRLS ARE MORE ATTACHED TO A FATHER. FOR THIS THE BOY AKSHAY NEEDS COUNSELLING. BECAUSE HE IS WOUNDED INTERNALLY. ONLY COUNSELLING CAN HEAL INNER WOUNDS. NO MEDICINE FOR INNER WOUNDS. HOPE AKSHAY IS SAFE.
