Dubai, Apr 25: Thumbay Hospital - Dubai, the leading academic hospital owned and operated by Thumbay Group UAE, is all set to conduct the third edition of ‘Mom’s Day Out’, an exciting annual event exclusively for new and expectant moms on Friday, April 28, 4 pm onwards. The event promises to be a fun-filled evening with a number of contests, informative sessions, games, exhibitions and activities, all designed to entertain and educate the participants. This year’s theme is “Every Mom is a Queen!”
‘Mom’s Day Out’ has been rising in popularity and participation, making it one of the most awaited moms’ events in the country. The event provides participants the chance for a one-to-one interaction with the experienced doctors of Thumbay Hospital, on matters related to pregnancy and issues concerning newborn babies. Activities this year include: The Royal Bake & Win Contest, Diet & Nutrition Counseling, Beauty, Spa Relaxation Station, Mother & Child Product Exhibition and Fun Activities, Games and Prizes. There will also be a children’s play area and fun activities to entertain kids.
This year’s edition of ‘Mom’s Day Out’ has been conceived as a complete event for new and expectant moms, with activities across various one-on-one zones. For pregnant moms, the four zones include: Understanding Your Pregnant Body, Medicine & Pregnancy, Stems Cell Banking and Labour - Stages & Pain Relief Options. New moms can access the following four zones: Breast Feeding - Challenges & Troubleshooting, Touch Therapy, Positive Parenting and Building Your Baby’s IQ.
Registration for the event is completely free. In addition to learning more about pregnancy and clearing misconceptions, participants also get to appreciate prenatal and antenatal products and facilities firsthand. A wide range of baby stuff, beauty products, nutritional supplements, organic foods, maternity clothing and accessories, pregnancy/parenting books etc will also be on display. Visitors will also be able to book Thumbay Hospital’s specially discounted maternity package, irrespective of their stage of pregnancy.
A Facebook photo contest titled ‘Super Mom Photo Contest’ is also being conducted by as part of the event. Registrations and voting for the contest are currently open at Thumbay Hospital’s official Facebook page, and winners, whose names will be declared on the event day, stand to win cool prizes.
‘Mom’s Day Out’ is a very popular annual event of Thumbay Hospital, which attracts participants and visitors from all over the UAE. Akbar Moideen Thumbay, vice-president of the health care division of Thumbay Group said that the 2017 edition of Mom’s Day Out would be bigger in terms of the number of participants and visitors. “We welcome all new and expectant moms to the event and urge them to make the best use of this unique opportunity to entertain and educate themselves,” he said.
