Mangaluru, Apr 16: The new, state-of-the art speciality clinic 'Falnir Health Centre' developed by Landmark Infratech in association with Falcon Property Management at Falnir here, was inaugurated on Sunday, April 16 by Syed Athaullah Thangal.

Addressing the gathering. Syed Athaullah Thangal said, "Falnir Health Centre is one of the best health facilities dedicated to Mangaluru by Landmark Infratech. I congratulate Dr Syed Mohammed and his team on completing this project in a successful manner. This is a grand project for our community at Falnir."

Elaborating the word 'Falnir' he said, "'F' stands for faith. Doctors should provide the best medication for the patients who have faith in them and come for treatment. 'A' stands for affordable, the fees need to be affordable for all the patients. 'L' stands for level of community, as fees need to be affordable to all levels of community be it poor or the rich. 'N' stands for noble ideas which the doctor should possess while treating patients. 'I' stands for impression, as first impression is the best impression and this should be implemented while treating the patients. 'R' stands for ready to act in any critical situation." He also said that doctors need to be dedicated and determined towards their profession.

Chairman and medical director of Falnir Health Centre, Dr C P Habeeb Rahman said, "I am happy to see this beautiful building come up in Mangaluru. Education, healthcare and religion are the growing sectors of the 21st century. In the field of education, Mangaluru is one of the top places housing nine medical colleges. This city which was earlier known for industries and tiles, has transformed into a healthcare and educational hub.

"Knowledge can be categorized into two types, divine knowledge and acquired knowledge. While divine knowledge focuses on humanity and moral values, acquired knowledge is that which we gain from schools, colleges and universities. I congratulate everyone involved in the process of building Falnir Health Centre. We should maintain the trust of patients in us," he added.

Earlier, Dr Hyder welcomed the gathering. Lavita Menezes compered the programme.

Dr D B Mehta, president, CREDAI, corporator Abdul Rauf, Syed Aslam Thangal and others were present.
