Mumbai, Apr 15: Hollywood film Fast and Furious - 8 is dubbed in Kannada. The film can be watched in Kannada now. It is released in Bengaluru by the name 'Vega Mathu Udvega 8' on April 14.
A Hollywood film is dubbed in Kannada for the first time in Mumbai. Famous writers and voice artistes Jayasheela Suvarna and Arusha N Shetty have lent their voices for dubbing.
“As foreign films get dubbed in Kannada, the original producers come to know about Kannada. We get to know the good and bad of foreign cultures in our language. Dubbing in Kannada has become a revolution in Kannada film industry. If the audience watch and support good films such as these, there may arise a change in the industry,” opined Jayasheela Suvarna and Arusha Shetty.
