Mangaluru, Apr 4: The new team of office-bearers of Mangalore chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) was installed in a simple ceremony held at Hotel Deepa Comforts here on Monday, April 3.
D B Mehta was re-elected president for the second time, Siraj Ahmed as vice-president, Naveen Cardoza as honorary secretary, Vinod Pinto as joint secretary and members S M Arshad, Srinath Hebbar, Prashanth, Ganesh, William D'Souza, Lakshmish Bhandary and Felix took charge for the term 2017-2019.
Addressing the gathering, D B Mehta said, "This is a big occasion for CREDAI. I am looking forward to getting co-operation from the all the members. Two years ago, I took over as president of CREDAI. There are a lot of expectations from me. I will give the same level of performance as in my first term. I will strive hard to match everyone's expectations.
"We have launched CSR activities and spent Rs 25 lac for the purpose. CSR activity is related to business and society. We are also stressing upon giving scholarships for children of construction labourers," he added.
MLA J R Lobo and mayor Kavita Sanil also spoke on the occasion and wished the CREDAI team good luck.
