Madikeri, Apr 4: In an incident which occurred at Sulugalale Colony near Shanivarsanthe in Kodagu district on Sunday April 2 , a boy died after the compound wall of a house crashed on him. The boy who succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident has been identified as Charan (6), son of Praveen, a local.
Charan was one among the six-year-old twin children of Praveen and Jyoti, both residents of Sulugalale colony. On Sunday morning, the grandmother was serving lunch to both of them inside the house when Charan heard a tractor coming near his home. He rushed out to see a tractor that had brought crushed stone to the site located opposite his home, where a new house is being constructed. Charan was watching the tractor by standing on his side of the compound wall.
