Mumbai: Mumbai university holds 'Journalism and Literature' discussion programme

Mumbai, Mar 21: Kannada department of Mumbai University held a discussion on Journalism and Literature at Kalina Campus, Ranade Bhavan of Vidyanagari, Santacruz east on Monday afternoon, March 20.

Kannada department head Dr G N Upadhya in his keynote address said that the name earned by hard work is lasting. Senior journalist, member of Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha, Maharashtra Sridhar Uchil, former editor of Mogaveera monthly magazine and treasurer of Patrakartara Sangha Ashok S Suvarna and active member of Patrakartara Sangha and columnist Navin K Inna were the resource persons.



Jyothi N Shetty, Shivaraj M J, Surekha S Devadiga, K A Madale, H Harasappa, Ganapathi K Mogaveera, Kumuda Alva, Anitha S Shetty, Geetha R S, Sheela L R, Surekha Hariprasad Shetty, Nalina Prasad S, Sukanya Pateela, H S Aparna, Hema S Ameen, Madhusoodhan Rao, Jay Salian, Anitha Poojary Takode, Amritha A Shetty, Dinaker N Chandan and others were present.

Assistant professor of Kannada department Dr Poornima S Shetty welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Jyothi K Shetty said the prayer. Dr Rama Udupa proposed the vote of thanks.
