Bengaluru, Mar 18: Residents of Rajarajeshwari Nagar in the city have come across the bizarre experience of finding a peeping Tom who has the habit of looking into the open windows seeking to grasp unusual scenes and also get unusual satisfaction out of extending his hands into the windows and touching women folk. Because of the presence of this weird person, the residents of this locality have posted warning in Facebook, alerting the women who are in the habit of keeping the windows open because of summer, to be wary of this man.

The residents of Rajarajeshwari Nagar have come across this man who is known to peep through bathroom windows during the day, and stretching his hands into the houses through open windows at night in an attempt to feel the female members with his fingers. He has been around since the last about six months, they say.

The man, aged around 25 to 30, has succeeded in keeping police personnel and locals, who are trying to catch hold of him, at bay. Some of the CCTV cameras have caught his glimpses, and the police personnel are now basing their investigations on the CCTV footage.

The people of this locality have opened a Facebook page in name of Rajarajeshwari Nagar in which several have explained about the troubles being suffered at the hands of this man. In the recent past, this psycho was seen near New Horizon school at BEL fifth stage. He is well-versed with the entire locality and he possesses the skills and capacity to easily scale high compounds and walls by using openings in the walls or balconies. He normally is active between 11 pm and 2 am . Because of innocent looks, he may go without getting noticed, they have said. A lady from Ideal Home Township there, who came across the man twice near her home, said she cannot forget that frightful experience.

"When the window screen of my room in first floor moved, initially I thought it was because of breeze. But second time, when I was deep asleep, the miscreant put his hand through the window and touched my face. I was overtaken by fright, and informed my parents. Within seconds, he fled towards another building. Attempts to nab him failed," said another woman.

The police have asked the people to call 100 if they sight the criminal. They has also advised the residents of the locality to have close contact with neighbours so that information can be exchanged immediately when something happens. The residents have been told to keep windows closed at night. Additional police commissioner, Malini Krishnamurthy, confirmed that the police have received complaints about such activities by miscreants and that two special teams have been formed to nab the concerned.
