Madikeri, Mar 14: Speaking to media persons here on Monday March 13, state animal husbandry minister, A Manju, said that the last time he met former chief minister, S M Krishna, was about six months ago. He termed as false reports appearing in a section of the media that he had met Krishna and held discussions with him on Sunday March 12.
"A newspaper reported that I met Krishna and held talk with him. I am not a person who betrays my party. I will issue legal notice to the concerned. Let them provide clarification in the court," he said.
"S M Krishna cannot be termed as a Congress leader. He has already deserted our party. Although the party gave him all kinds of responsible positions, he lacks in commitment. He is a senior statesman, but not a party leader," he commented.
Manju also accused Krishna of having intervened and ensured that the former lost the chance to become a minister in the past.
