Bengaluru, Mar 14: BJP president B S Yeddyurappa on Monday March 13, went to extent of saying that chief minister Siddaramaiah has lost his mental balance. The reason for the outburst was Congress leaders including Siddaramaiah had commented against him.
“The chief minister has lost his mental balance. He is very much worried about the diary seized during an income tax raid at MLC Govindaraju’s place. The diary clearly mentions about the monies paid to Congress leaders in New Delhi as well as about kickbacks,” Yeddyurappa said speaking to reporters here.
“If the ministers were not involved in irregularities, why the steel flyover project was called off then? Siddaramaiah has paid a huge sum to his party high command to remain in power. He has also taken a kickback of Rs 65 crore from the contractors of the flyover.” he added.
“Siddaramaiah has said that he would resign if the charges are proved. I have documents to prove that he is guilty and Congress has indulged in many irregularities.” he concluded.
