Oman: MCCP organizes photography contest for its members

Oman, Mar 13: Mangalorean Catholic Center of the parish, here, organized a photography contest for its members on March 3.



The contest was held at Corniche Muttrah, which is a very popular tourist destination of Oman. Around 17 members participated in the contest.

The programme commenced at 8 am with a welcome to the participants by the president Dilip Correa. Lavina D’Sa, briefed the participants about the rules of the contest.
The participants had to click photographs on the spot and submit them to the organizers. The photograph was to be clicked within an assigned area and no editing
of photographs was permitted. Only digital cameras were allowed for the purpose. Only one entry was permitted per participant.

The enthusiastic participants used all their photographic skills to cover the beauty of Oman. At the end of the contest each participant was presented a certificate of participation. The results of the competition will be announced at a later date and the winners will be notified regarding the prize distribution. It was indeed a great effort by the executive committee for the year 2016-17 to bring to light the talents in the field of photography.
