Mumbai, Feb 27: A non-cognisable offence has been registered against Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon for allegedly abusing watchman of a housing society in suburban Khar who prevented her from parking her vehicle inside the complex, police said on Tuesday.
In the complaint filed with the police station on behalf of the watchman, Ramji Yadav, office bearers of the Skylark Apartments have alleged that Raveena also threatened to file a case of molestation against Yadav.
Raveena had gone to drop her daughter at a coaching class in the building on February 22 when Yadav prevented her from parking her vehicle inside the compound as per society rules.
An angry Raveena told him that as her daughter was attending a class in the building she should be allowed to park the vehicle and allegedly shoved him, a senior police official of the Khar police station said.
"In the complaint, they also claim that she was about to hit the watchman when two other flat owners intervened. It is a non-cognisable complaint and we can only take action on it if we are told by court.
