Mumbai, Feb 15: The 9th Konkani Yuva Sahitya Sammelan will be held at Fr Agnello College on Saturday February 16 and Sunday February 17. Sammelan venue is named as Ragunath Vishnu Pandit nagar. Raknno Konkani weekly editor Fr Francis Rodrigues is elected as the president of the sammelan while Fr Fredrick Rodrigues has been appointed president of the welcome committee.  Young, up and coming poetess Rajashree Sail is nominated as working president.  Ashok Nayak and Fr Renald Baretoo have been elected as the coordinators of the sammelan.

Dilip Darglkar, Shrikant Palsarkar, Markus Gonsalves, Balchandr Nayak, Sandesh Bandekar, Vishal Khandepakar, Milan Vayangankar, Ancy Paladka Mumbai, Ladko Kudatarkar, John Agier, Nacio DSouza, Chetan Acharya, Mamata Padte, Dr Revansiddi Nayak, Gaurish Vernekar, Minin Almeida and Satyavan Nayak will be the invited poets of the sammelan.

Yogini Acharya, Sunil Palkar, Hanumant Chopdekar, Ashok Nayak, Ramnath Gavde Gvadalup Dias, Zofa Gonsalves and Zuze Lorence will participated in yuva srajana session moderated by Ramesh Veluskar.

Hanumant Chopdekar, Rajdeep Nayak, Elvis, Nayana Adarkar, Shekar, Chetan Borker, Maya Khargate, Nutan Sakardande, Dr Revansiddi Nayak and Pratiksha Nayak will participate in the cultural session moderated by Dilip Borker.

There will be also four workshops on the topics of story, poetry, article and humorous article writing will be held during the sammelan. Tanaji Harlankar, Sushant Nayak, Pundalik Nayak, Balchandr Ganvkar, Damodar Mauzo, Arun Sakardande, Prakash Bazarikar, Prakash Nayak, Dinesh Manekar, Bushan Bave, Prakash Vazarikar, Kashmiri Pavsarkar, Rajay Pawar, Anant Salkar, Sanjay Talvadkar, Rajdeep Nayak will moderate and participate in the discussions of these workshops.
