Kundapur, Jan 27: Two motor bike riders lost their lives in two separate accidents which happened on the night of Thursday January 26 in the taluk.
Sudheer Kumar (26) from Hallihole village, who was riding a motor bike, died on the spot after a Maruti - 800 car collided with his two-wheeler at Idur-Kunhady. Sudheer, who was the son of Teja from Hallihole, was employed in a private institution. He was on his way home through Idur-Kunhady along with his friend in the pillion, when the said accident occurred. He died, having suffered grave injuries to his head. A case relating to this accident was registered at Kollur police station.
Another biker, identified as Chandrashekhar Mogaveera (46) lost his life in an accident involving two motor bikes. This accident occurred at Durganagara in Gulvady village in the taluk. Chandrashekhar, who was working for a tile factory at Gulvady, was riding his motor bike when another two-wheeler hit his vehicle. Chandrashekhar, who fell to the ground, suffered maximum impact on his head. Although arrangements were made to carry him to a private hospital in the town, he died during travel. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. A case about this accident was filed at the town police station.
