Press Release
Mangaluru, Jan 25: The Teetotalers are geared up for a rock concert yet again. This time, it is to support the White Doves cause. The team will host the musical concert 'Konkani Rocks 3' on Sunday, January 29 at 6.30 pm at St Agnes Special School Grounds. This was announced at a press meet on Wednesday, January 25.
White Doves, a renowned NGO in the city, is known to help and rehabilitate people with special needs and aims to set up a speciality building for the destitute at Bikarnakatta.
'The Teetotalers' is a group of fun-loving friends from different professions who share a passion for music and had put together the First Konkani Rock Show in 2012, dazzling an audience of over a thousand.
Driven by tremendous appreciation from lovers of Konkani music, guided by a zest for Konkani music, and a primary purpose of promoting a charitable cause, the Teetotalers got together yet again in January 2016 and tasted even better success than they did the first time, with the support and admiration of over 3,000 people.
The teetotalers are now humbled to organise the show this year, to support the extraordinary cause by the tremendous White Doves.
The Teetotalers are looking forward to creating magic yet again with their unique music at this grand event. Founder of White Doves Corrine Rasquinha, MLA J R Lobo, and president of Mandd Sobhann Louis J Pinto will be chief guests at the concert.
All proceeds from the rock show will be given to the White Doves to help construct the specialty building.
The team extended a warm invite to everyone to support them both in person and financially, by making it to the Rock Show and a generous contribution.
Entry to the concert is free.
Corrine Rasquinha, Dilraj Rodrigues, Roshan D’Souza, Vijay Fernandes and Titus Noronha, were present at the press meet, amongst others.
