Kundapur, Jan 24: K Jayaprakash Hegde, former MP has urged the Karnataka state government to quickly solve the problems of 94C and sand mining.
Speaking to news reporters at Gangolli, he said that the problem of 94C stops the people from receiving government facilities. “The people staying on government land are deprived of government projects in the absence of title deeds. Therefore the government should come forward to solve the problem immediately,” he said.
“The government has still not taken a clear stand on sand mining. The construction work of several buildings and developments are facing hardship due to lack of sand. Hundreds of people are staying at home without work. Therefore the government should consider the matter seriously and solve the problem that is plaguing for the last several months,” he urged.
He declined to answer a question by reporters about joining political party. “There is no politics for the time being. The decision will be announced after joining the party,” he added.
