Udupi: Rajeshwari bail plea - police get one week to file objections

Udupi, Jan 21: The state high court (HC) has given Manipal police a week's time to file objections for the bail application moved by Rajeshwari Shetty, prime accused in the murder of her husband, NRI entrepreneur, Bhaskar Shetty.

The bail application filed by Rajeshwari had been turned down by the sessions court here a few weeks back. She had thereafter approached the HC seeking relief. When the application came up for hearing, the single judge bench of the HC presided over by Justice Ratnakala had registered the case and ordered issuance of notice to Manipal station police asking them to file objections if any before January 20.

When the matter came up before the bench on Friday January 20, it was observed that the policemen had failed to file any objections. Additional public prosecutor, who was present, sought a week's time for filing of objections. Justice Ratnakala upheld his request and adjourned the hearing for a week.

BY THE WAY, "THE JUSTICE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE MOTHER" SAID BY POLITICIANS, WHERE ARE THEY..????? IF AT ALL THE CASE WAS HANDED OVER TO CBI INSTEAD OF CID, CERTAINLY THEY WOULD HAVE SOLVED THE CASE. HOWEVER, BY GIVING THE CASE TO CID - THE ELDER BROTHER OF POLICE..... VERY SAD.... THE WHOLE OF DK, UDUPI LOST FAITH IN ....

    How funny.court asks police to file objections within a week.why court itself decide?Till the case beginns in court,she as a main accused,shouldnt be allowed on bail.It will be a big mistake she will disappear from spot or big risk to her life is possible.while relatives are fighting for shares,mother should be protected first.This case will be more suspicious than Trump election.

    If this murderer Rajeshwari is released, she will eliminate Bhaskar Shetty.'s mother Gulabi and other family members of his and therefore should not be released on bail .
