Bengaluru, Jan 20: City-based Society for Development of Composites has invented a new technology that enables people to build their dream homes within a day. The society practically showed through video demonstration held about this technology, which was organized at Composite Technology Park of the etity near Kengeri satellite town here. The demonstration also showed the method in which panels are made, concrete is mixed, and things are joined together.
Giving details to media persons who attended the demonstration, executive director of the society, Dr R Gopalan, said that alluminium, cement, coconut fibre, bamboo and processed high quality sand are used for this construction.
"We have digitized all the assembling and joining processes. Therefore, the building will be safe and strong. We can build houses as per the requirement and choice of the customers," he explained.
He added that the houses his society builds will not need air-conditioners even during peak of summer, and that the environment inside house remains the same in all the seasons. He further stated that there will not be any cracks in the walls and doors of these houses.
President of Technology Advisory Committee, Prof R Jagadeesh, president of the society, Dr M K Panduranga Shetty, and B H Lokesh, were present.
