In addition to adding to the beauty, greenery and much needed lung space of Mangaluru, may this beautiful new park be a place not only for refreshing the body, mind and soul, but also for building the spirit of friendship and communal harmony.

May people remember the impressive contributions of the great stalwart of Bejai, Chevalier L.C. Pais as also, try to imbibe some of the great qualities of Swami Vivekananda, a highly respected personality of our nation.

More and more public parks with proper plantation and irrigation facility should crop up in and around the city of Mangalore. We also should harvest rain water to water the plants during summer time.
Park should be user friendly and should educate the young and old to make use of parks by paving walking and jogging tracks within the park. We have the means and avenue, but need a right attitude to implement more and more parks in the city.
    Jai Hind.
