Mangaluru, Jan 10: "Young Muslims should exhibit their talents alongside following Islamic way of living. There is a need to spread information about the message Islam wants to relay to the world by making use of modern technology effectively," exhorted religious scholar, Sheikh Abdurrazikh Saudagar.
He was delivering the main address at the inaugural of 'The Miracle', a seven day information-cum-exhibition about Islam being organized at Nehru Maidan here by Karnataka Salafi Association. The programme, which will be on for seven days, was inaugurated on Monday January 9.
Abdurrahman Ullal presided over the inaugural. Sheikh Swalahuddin Maqbool Madani released the third edition of Kannada translation of the Quran on this occasion, Maulvi Kunhi Muhammed Madani Parappore received the first copy of this edition.
Sheikh Harshad Khan inaugurated the blood donation camp set up at the venue. Director of blood bank at KMC Hospital, Dr Shreejit Chakravarty, and president of Moodbidri Al Furkhan Education Trust, U Mohiuddin Kunhi, were present.
Abubakker Nazeer Salafi welcomed. Yasir Bin Muhammed proposed vote of thanks.
