Mangaluru: Alvas Moodbidri to host South India level Homeopathic conference

Mangaluru, Jan 6: "A South-India based Homeopathic Conference will be held in Dr V S Acharya Auditorium in Vidyagiri on Sunday, January 8," informed Dr Pravin Raj P, principal of at Alvas Homeopathic Medical College.

The conference will be held under the aegis of Alvas Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, he added.

President of Alva's Education Foundation, Dr M Mohan Alva, will preside over the inauguration that will be held at 10 AM. Central Homeopathic Council member Dr Srikanth Konkani will be the chief guest. Dr Sudhin Kumar of National Secretary of Indian Homeopathic Association and Vivek Alva, trustee, Alvas Education Foundation will be the guests of honour.

Dr Saji K, member of Kerala Health University Senate, will present a lecture on the 'Role of homoeopathy when treating skin diseases'. Dr Dev Das Acharya, Head of the Department of Radiology in Yenepoya University will present a lecture on X-Ray, CT Scan and MRI Scan in the afternoon. "Homoeopathy scholars from the states in South India will participate in the conference," said Dr Pravin.

Dr Roshan Pinto, College vice principal, Dr Rakhal P, conference secretary, Dr Y M Khadri and Prajna Alva, members of the association were present in the press conference.
