Yokohama, Dec 19 (IANS): Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane expressed satisfaction after his squad won the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup against Kashima Antlers in the final match.
Zidane on Sunday said being the coach of Los Blancos means that pressure and stress will always be there, Efe news reported.
After winning the final 4-2 against the Japanese hosts, the Frenchman acknowledged that the team suffered exhaustion on the way to Japan, which made the victory even harder to achieve against the well-organised rivals.
"I'm tired and I need to sleep, but I don't care because we've achieved something huge," Zidane said.
"The good thing is that we have a bit of rest before we return on the 27th," he added.
The coach considered Los Merengues had a great year, in which they won the Club world Cup, the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.
