Udupi: Short circuit - car goes up in flames

Udupi, Dec 17: Major portion of a Tata Indigo car parked near Lord Venkataramana temple at Katapadi near here was consumed by flames on Friday December 16.



The car in question is owned by a person named Laxminarayana Pai. A short circuit is believed to have caused the accident. No one was injured in the incident.

The fire brigade was alerted about the incident, after which firemen arrived and doused the flames.
