Mumbai, Jan 23: Nanik Rupani and his wife, chairman and members of the managing committee of Priyadarshini Academy and Dinesh Khanna, executive director, Eastern International Hotels Ltd organized a gala dinner in honour of Cherie Blair, wife of former British prime minister Tony Blair and the president of Shrimati Pushpawati Loomba Memorial Trust to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Loomba Trust.

Grace Pinto, managing director of Ryan International Group of Institutions was present on the occasion and interacted with Cherie Blair. She felicitated her with a bouquet in appreciation for the social service she renders towards the poor and needy.

A get-together and dinner for Parliamentarians was held recently at New Delhi. Vice-president of India Dr Mohammed Hameed Ansari, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and chief minister of Delhi Sheila Dixit attended the function along with several members of the parliament and dignitaries from various fields.
