Mumbai: Kannada Seva Sangha celebrates 'Karnataka Samskrithi Vaibhava'

Mumbai, Dec 14: Kannada Seva Sangha Powai held their annual 'Karnataka Samskrithi Sambrama 2016' at the sangha office premises on Sakivihar road in Powai on Sunday, December 11. Bantara Sangha Mumbai president Prabhakara L Shetty lit the traditional lamp and set the programme in motion. Uma Maheshwari temple chief priest S N Udupa blessed the occasion.

Talented children and women's wing members presented 'Karnataka Samskrithi Nritya Vaibhava'. Gokula women's wing performed 'Shashiprabha Parinaya' Kannada Yakshagana directed by advocate Geetha R L Bhat.

Vice president of Sangha Diwaker M Shetty, honorary treasurer Sandesh R Shetty, women's wing executive president Anitha Shetty, youth wing executive president Srinivas Naik, building committee convener Sudhakar G Poojary, advisory committee executive president D K Shetty, sports committee executive president Yashodhar Puthran, social welfare committee executive president Umesh G Anchan, education committee executive president Dayananda C Bangera, cultural committee president Prashanti D Shetty, Tulu cultural committee president Santuru Ashok Shetty, member enrollment committee president Pravin Shetty and others were present.

Laxmi J Shetty sang a prayer song. Souvenir committee executive president, advocate R G Shetty welcomed everyone and gave he keynote address. Dr Poornima Sudhakar Shetty and Baba Prasad Aras compered the programme. Honorary chief secretary Nagaraja Gurupura explained the services of the Sangha and proposed the vote of thanks.
