Mangaluru, Dec 2: The annual feast of the shrine of Our Lady of Pompei, in the premises of Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa , will be held on  Sunday, December 11, announced Fr Stany Periera, parish priest of the church.

Addressing the media persons in the church premises he said, "The Bishop of the diocese of Mangaluru, Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, will be the main celebrant of the festive holy mass at 5.30 PM. The festive procession will also be held after the festive mass at 7.30 PM."

Fr Walter D'Mello, presently the assistant judicial vicar at Bishops House, will be the preacher. The nine-day novena in preparation for the feast will begin from December 2 and will be inaugurated at 5.40 PM at the shrine," he added.

Assistant parish priest of the church, Fr Johnson Sequeira, former vice-president of the parish pastoral council, Hilary D'Souza, secretary Jenevive Mathias, Elias Fernandes, managing director four winds mass communication were among the present at the addressal.
