Udupi, Nov 29: In response to all India ‘Aakrosh Divas’ called by opposition parties against demonetisation, district BJP observed ‘Sambrama Dinacharane’ on Monday November 28 at Clock Tower.
Speaking on the occasion, district president of BJP, Mattaru Ratnakara Hegde said, “Aakrosh Divas is being observed by only few Congress leaders, but by and large people do not support the opposition parties. People of India are supporting Modi by not observing Bharat bandh and Aakrosh Divas including chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar and Congress leader Muniyappa who have appreciated Modiji’s fight against black money. I thank all for not supporting Bharat bandh and for joining hands in support of PM Modi.”
BJP leader Suresh Nayak said, “Aakrosh Divas, called by Congress and other opposition parties is completely against the democracy of India. Mamata Banarjee and Arvind Kejriwal are upset about their illegal money and to protect themselves, they are observing Aakrosh Divas.”
Baikadi Suprasad Shetty compared people of India with people of America who returned eggs during the Second World War when
there was shortage of food for soldiers and contributed their part in the victory of America. “Likewise people of India are contributing by facing minor problems of note ban for the good future of India. BJP government is fulfilling the promises made during the election,” he said.
Former MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, Yashpal Suvarna, Akshith Shetty, Dinakara Babu, Parbhakara Poojary and members of Mahila Morcha and many BJP activists were present.
