Mumbai, Jan 16: In a suspected hit and run, three call centre employees in their early 20s were killed on Wednesday January 16, when an unknown vehicle rammed into their motorcycle on the Bombay-Agra Western Express Highway (WEH).

The incident occurred around 9.30 a.m. at Kashimira area on the WEH, around 10 km from the Mumbai-Thane border.

The three victims, two men and one woman, were riding triple on the bike and were killed instantly. All three were 23 years old.

Gabriel D'Souza, Aliston D'Souza and Sophia Alexander were employed with the J P Morgan Call Centre in Malad west, a suburb in northwest Mumbai, and were on their way to work, said investigating officer Sanjeev Bhole.

They were rushed to the Bhagwati Hospital in Borivali where they were declared dead.

Bhole said that when the police team reached the site, the trio had passed out with severe head injuries. The Bajaj Discover motorcycle they were riding was lying nearby. Police are hoping some eyewitnesses will come forward to provide leads on the vehicle involved in the accident.
