AICC Goa secretary slams BJP over I-T notices to churches

Panaji, Nov 28 (TOI): AICC secretary Girish Chodankar termed income tax notices to Goan churches as another 'unfortunate attempt' by BJP to polarize Goa ahead of the elections. "The I-T department should have first targeted those who have looted the government exchequer and banks, and left the country," said Chodankar.

He also raised questions on BJP's decision to put recruitment to government departments on hold.

The first and last term of the BJP Government like Sadam Husssian did in Kuwait before driven away, the Iraqi army set fire to the Kuwait oil wells. Modi's political rhetoric like Rs. 15 lakh/person of the black money-river cleaning-smart cities-2 million jobs-foreign direct investment by the trillions-600 million toilets-5 trillion dollar GDP in five years and 10 trillion in 10 years etc etc were pure hoax calls. Now diverted the rhetoric to " surgical strikes and currency carpet bombing to push the nation into total anarchy.
