New Delhi, Nov 21 (IANS): The Supreme Court on Monday ordered status quo on Tata group-owned Taj Mansingh Hotel in New Delhi, disallowing NDMC's plea that the hotel should not be allowed bookings after December 31.
The municipal body, that owns the land and the building, had filed a plea that Taj Mansingh should be restrained from pursuing transactions from December 31.
Disallowing its plea, the bench of Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose and not Uday Umesh Lalit said "Running (of the hotel) can't be stopped".
Fixing January 10 for hearing of the matter, the bench said, "Once for all, the matter has to be decided."
