Washington, Nov 9 (IANS): Former US President George W. Bush didn't vote either for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton but the Republican presidential candidate said the decision won't have any impact.

George W. Bush and his wife Laura, two weeks ago, left the presidential candidate section of their ballots blank and instead voted for down ballot Republicans, CNN reported.

Appearing on the "Howie Carr Show" on WRKO on Tuesday evening, Trump said he did not think the former President's decision has any impact. "I think it's sad," Trump said.

"When I see George Bush do that, and look I was very critical of him for getting us into Iraq, which was obviously a horrible decision, and getting out the way Obama got us out was a horrible way to get out too -- the combination. I don't think it has any impact, frankly. I think it has no impact."

Neither George W. Bush nor his father, fellow former President George H.W. Bush, endorsed Trump.
