Mangaluru: Tipper truck hits scooter - woman rider passes away

Mangaluru, Oct 27: After a tipper truck knocked down a scooter from behind at Gorigudda in the city on Wednesday, October 26, a woman suffered grave injuries and lost her life.

Farzana (35), a native of Kundapur Kody, currently residing at Kallapu, was the victim of this accident. On Wednesday afternoon, Farzana was moving towards Yekkur from Pumpwell circle for some work, when a tipper which approached her scooter from behind and hit her vehicle. Farzana fell, suffered serious injuries, and started to bleed profusely. Although she was admitted to a hospital thereafter, she failed to respond to treatment.

A case of this accident was registered in traffic (East) police station here. Police officers have begun investigating it.

    so what... another accident. whose father's what goes kind of. Just the counts are growing day by day. Nobody bothered, no RTO, no police nobody feels the pain. For them it's an accident. What's going to happen to the tipper driver, nothing. He will be seen driving havoc same next day. That's the reality. Only loss is for the family and loved ones. Very unfortunate fate of all of us...
